Meet Our Staff

Nancy Graham
Nancy GrahamFounder/Owner
Nancy Graham graduated from Vancouver University College in 1992 where she received both her MACTE Montessori and her Early Childhood Education accreditation. She taught in Montessori preschools until the birth of her son in 1996, then resumed in Nanaimo in 1999. In 2001, Nancy moved with her family to Calgary, Alberta, teaching a Montessori program within the Calgary School Board’s public system. She also taught at Calgary Montessori School before taking the entrepreneurial leap to open her own school.

She established Pathway Montessori Preschool in Calgary in 2005, and founded the Woodpark Montessori Society in 2008, a non-profit society that governs the public-funded kindergarten program at the preschool. As her own children were making the transition to high school in 2009, Nancy made the decision to return home to B.C., where she opened her first preschool expansion in Langley. She opened a second location in Fort Langley in 2011.

Kathy Mazurkewicz
Kathy MazurkewiczMontessori Directress
Ms. Kathy has Montessori certification (birth to six years) from Western Montessori College, 2001 and ECE certification from Northern Lights College, 2002. She also holds a current child care first aid, food safe, and a Nutrition Diploma from Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, 2010. Her career started while exploring preschool options for her children, which lead to being a parent helper in the classroom. Since then, she’s worked in almost every type of child care setting. Her passion has always been Montessori, as it uniquely creates a love of learning that sets each child up for success.

Kathy believes in guiding children through all areas of development, warmly and respectfully using the Montessori Method as a foundation for life-long learning. Nurturing skills and gently encouraging values along the way, such as courtesy, helps to inspire young leaders and Stewards of the Earth who learn through their surroundings and experiences about themselves, others and their environment.

Now that her children are grown, she enjoys painting, gardening and spending time outdoors when not in the classroom.

Lenka Rimaldi
Lenka RimaldiMontessori Directress
“Ms Lenka”, as the children know her in the classroom, has been a great addition to the Pathway Montessori team. Lenka Rimaldi’s teaching career began in Slovakia where she was a qualified preschool-kindergarten teacher. After moving to Canada, she was happy to be able to continue working as a preschool teacher. Lenka graduated from North American Montessori Training Centre in 2004. In 2006 she graduated from Langley College where she received ECE certification. Lenka has joined Pathway Montessori in Ft Langley after teaching and doing some of the administration duties in a Montessori preschool in Surrey for the past 11 years. Since both her sons are now attending Elementary school in Walnut Grove she was happy to find a teaching position closer to home. In her free time Lenka enjoys sport activities, especially soccer; photography and reading.
